Group Play, the brand-new feature from Piano Marvel, lets you play with anyone in the world in real-time. Whether in a group setting or over long distances, a key challenge for teachers is the difficulty of playing simultaneously with others. It can be a struggle to get everyone in a class to play together at the same time.
Currently, there is no way to play a song simultaneously with a group and get individual feedback. This makes it difficult to determine where errors are occurring. As a result, students might not find the joy in group playing, and teachers might waste time trying to correct mistakes in group settings.
That is why we have created Group Play. This brand-new feature allows pianists to play together, whether virtually or in person, and receive individual assessments and feedback. With Group Play, you can enjoy the fun of ensemble playing without the struggle of managing each individual’s part. We hope you enjoy sharing the joy that is making music with others.
Log in to your Piano Marvel Account. Select “Preferences” → “Group Play”, and then enable the “Show Group Play” option. You will now see an orange icon appear on the left side of your screen.
Click this icon to open the Group Play control panel, then create a new session. Invite your students or friends to join your session using the provided session code, and enjoy playing together at any distance.
