The Piano Video Contest is a public service free of charge which is designed to give piano learners and performers an opportunity to enter their video performance(s) into a public contest.
The purpose of this contest is to encourage piano learners to create and share video performances. The journey of creating a video for this contest will provide an opportunity to learn to play a piece, then learn the process of creating and sharing your videos. Creativity and innovation are encouraged. Video and audio editing are encouraged. Our mission is to inspire people to create better videos.
Anyone is permitted to enter the contest. We encourage piano teachers and piano students to submit videos. Submit as many videos as you would like. Videos must be uploaded to YouTube between the dates of the contest. Videos of questionable or offensive content are subject to removal.
We would like to thank all our sponsors for donating to the grand prize of $500 which will be awarded to one contestant. The first round of the contest will be based purely on how many views a video receives. A panel of judges will watch the top 20 videos and vote for their favorite video.
